Ms Lucy Baxter EDH GDC No: 5179

After her working day with her hands plunged into her patients’ mouths, Lucy plunges back into her active social life, which ranges from a love of the theatre to a particular passion for foreign travel (which covers anywhere not in Sandhurst!). Describing herself as a local girl, having worked and lived in Sandhurst all her life, Lucy started her career as a dental assistant with, not surprisingly, a local practice. Lucy has been with Confidental for sixteen years. Qualifying from Guys Hospital in 1997, she has a general interest in all areas of dentistry, working with patients of all ages, and supports Confidental’s focus on patients with dental phobias.

On a personal note, Sally has lived and worked locally in Sandhurst practically all her life and has an adorable Yorkshire terrier called Sophie who takes up most of her spare time with either walking or grooming her. Sally also enjoys the cinema and theatre and loves to escape to the countryside as often as possible – especially down to Cornwall.

Dr Deepak Mohal BDS (Lon) (Hons) MJDF RCS Dip RDP GDC No. 154721Deepak Mohal qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ College London with Honours. He is committed to constantly improving his skills and knowledge and has passed MJDF examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons and has passed his diploma from the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute (London).His life ambition was to combine his love for cars, his love for travelling and his love of dentistry (that’s a lot of love) and join the Formula 1 team as a dentist. But he soon realised that they were never going to let him drive their high performance cars and considering that his driving isn’t that great it is a blessing in disguise.

He uses his knowledge, experience and especially love for dental gadgets to provide the best possible care for his patients. His dental interests include free hand dentistry specifically in relation to the use of white composite material to whiten teeth and improve their smiles…because a lovely smile goes a long way. His funny and relaxing manner makes him ideal for nervous patients for treatment under sedation or even the dreaded root canal.

Dr Vishal Mohal BDS BSc (Hons) GDC No: 211661 Vishal qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute London. He carried out his one year practice vocational training in the East of England scheme before starting his associate position. He is an experienced clinician with an interest in minimally invasive Restorative Dentistry, Braces, anti wrinkle treatment and fillers. He has a special interest in cosmetic orthodontics, and is certified in using Inman aligner, Fixed orthodontic braces and Clear aligners. With a passion for postgraduate studies, following the completion of his certificate year In Restorative Dental Practice from Eastman Dental Institute, he is currently pursuing a diploma in Restorative Dental Practice. During this time, Vishal had the opportunity to work under the tutelage of some of the leading dental consultants in the country. In his spare time his passions are football, travelling and trying to keep a healthy lifestyle by playing racket sports and hiking. Vishal’s hobbies include racket sports and hiking.

Dr Sandeep Mohal BSc (Hons) BDS (Lon) (Hons) GDC No. 103544 Sandeep qualified from Barts & The Royal London Dental Institute London, having completed a 5 year dental training course. He carried out his one year practice vocational training in the Oxford scheme before starting his one year associate position in Basingstoke.

He has established himself as a friendly and caring professional and has gained a reputation as a very approachable dentist who is always willing to listen to anyone’s concerns. Sandeep has undertaken extensive postgraduate training which involves porcelain restorations and implants, and is currently pursuing an advanced restorative course at the very reputable Pankey Institute in Florida.

Sandeep’s special interests are in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He has had extensive experience of whitening and cosmetic ceramic crowns and veneers. He has carried out well over one thousand ceramic restorations. He is fully trained to provide Six Month Smiles, Fast Braces and Clearstep (invisible) braces.

He has been married since 2008 to his wife Anita and in 2012 they enjoy spending time with their baby boy Arun. When Sandeep has some spare time he loves following Formula 1.

Mrs Melissa Patey Dental Hygiene GDC No: 177220Hello, my name is Melissa but everyone refers to me as Mel. I’m 33 years old and I live just outside Wokingham with my husband of 3 years and our 11 month old little boy. I qualified 7 years ago from The Eastman, London. I have a younger sister who is also in the dental industry and is practice manager to 2 practices. My hobbies include Zumba and Poundfit classes which I just love. I love my sports and this encompasses a wide range. I am a massive darts fan and once a year you’ll find me at Butlins for the weekend watching the darts! I also love F1 and my honeymoon was spent watching the Monaco GP 2 years ago…good job my husband likes it too. However I also love gymnastics which I used to compete in until 15 years of age and then went on to obtain coaching qualifications and coach gymnastics to 3-16 years olds.  Other sports I watch include football, athletics, triathlon and golf. My favourite animal is the Meerkat and I am proud to say I have the whole range of the cuddly meerkats!

I am type 1 diabetic and so feel I have very good knowledge ethos on teeth and gums and keeping them healthy and how it can affect the body but the teeth and gums especially. I believe that the way you look after your teeth and gums will determine the longevity of them. I am always very interested and reading up on how medical conditions and medications affect the teeth and gums and how we can minimize these affects.

MPerio RCS (Edin.) – GDC No. 114919Narinder, our friendly Specialist Periodontist, graduated from St. Bartholomew’s & The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London in 2007.She was awarded the Harold Fink Prize for outstanding academic achievement and was awarded 2nd Prize by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners FGDP (UK) for her elective studies which was published in The London Hospital Dental Journal and Bart’s & The London Chronicle.After qualifying in 2007 and working extensively in general practice, she then went on to successfully complete her MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009.In 2014 Narinder completed her 3-year postgraduate training in Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and Implants at The Royal London Hospital and gained her Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015.Narinder also received an award from the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) and has presented some of her work at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD).As part of her training Narinder was also involved in supervising undergraduate students at the Royal London Hospital. She is also a visiting lecturer at Eastman CPD and was also the Specialist Training Committee (STC) Representative for Periodontology. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) Narinder’s clinical interests include all aspects of non- surgical, surgical and implant dentistry. She is based in several private practices and will happily accept referrals for all gum related problems and implant assessments. Her interests include the treatment of peri-implant diseases. She aims to progress her career not only in practice but also in the hospital academic route.
