- Dr Ann DavidsonPrincipal Dentist
GDC : 48262. She qualified from Manchester University in 1974 and held many associate posts around the country until 1993 when I purchased the Cressex Dental practice. Since that time I have watched the practice go from strength to strength as our aim is always to maintain a friendly caring approach whilst providing dentistry of a very high standard.. As well as running the practice I have also held many other positions as secretary and chairman of Bucks Local Dental Committee, a tutor in the Oxford deanery, a panel member of the Dental Vocational training Authority, non executive director of Bucks FHSA ,President of the South Mercia Branch of the BDA and more recently the county Dental Practice advisor to the Primary Care trust. Currently, she is carrying out dental practice inspections both for the care Quality Commission and the British Dental Association. Although no longer practising clinical dentistry I am very involved in the management of the practice and am frequently present in the practice when I like to keep in touch with the many patients that I have come to know over the last 20 years. Outside of work I am studying Italian and am a keen gardener and photographer. My three sons are all grown up now but my two little grand daughters and my little dog Bertie keep me very busy!
- Dr Katherine HamblettOral Surgeon
GDC : 74426. She qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1998. On qualification I joined Cressex Dental Practice to complete a years Vocational Training. Having enjoyed my first year so much I became an Associate at Cressex Dental Practice in 1999 and have been part of the team ever since. Many of my patients I have treated since I started at the practice. Whilst working part time at Cressex I have also worked part time elsewhere in private dental practice. I thoroughly love my job and enjoy all aspects of restorative dentistry but particularly cosmetic dentistry. I am a bit of a perfectionist and really pride myself in providing my patients with a high standard of dental care. I enjoy the long term care and relationships with my patients and winning the trust of more nervous patients. I have held the position of Branch Council Secretary of South Mercia Branch Council of the BDA (British Dental Association) for over seven years and I was also a member of the Buckinghamshire Local Dental Committee for a similar length of time. I regularly attend courses and carry out other forms of Continued Professional Development to keep my knowledge up to date and continue learning about the profession I am proud to be part of. I am married with two young children who keep me busy when I’m not at work! Outside of work , if I’m not having fun with my family, I enjoy theatre, music and socialising with friends.
- Dr Tiyasa BagchiPrincipal Dentist
GDC : 81089. She qualified in 2002 from King’s College, London and then did my Vocational Training in Milton Keynes in Community Dental Care. I decided to further my education by taking my MFDS (RCSEng) whilst working as an House Officer in Maxillo-facial and Restorative departments at Cardiff Dental Hospital. After which I decided to take a break from my studies and travel to Australia, where I worked all over including Sydney Dental Hospital and many rural areas where access to dental care was poor. This was a very enriching experience both personally and professionally. I also met Ann Davidson in a stint in Alice Springs so upon returning to the UK I then joined Cressex Dental Practice in 2005 where I still happily am. In 2009 I gained a position in Guy’s Dental Hospital as a Clinical Teacher in the Acute Dental Care department which I also love doing. My interests outside of the dental field include live music, theatre and travelling (without my drill).
