I began training as a senior dental nurse in 2006. Since qualifying I have trained in dental implants, periodontics, dental sedation and pain management and dental cosmetics. My next step is to train in dental radiography. I assisted Winifred in her practice accreditation in Dental Implants from the Royal College of Surgeons (England).

As practice manager, I divide my time between the roles of treatment coordinator, registered CQC manager and dental nurse. I have known Dr van Rensburg since I was a trainee dental nurse. Winifred trained and guided me at all times and I learned something new every day. As a qualified dental nurse I have a special interest in endodontics. I have attended specialist courses to increase my dental knowledge as well as completing SAAD Part One (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).
