George Au is the principal dentist; he qualified from Guys Hospital London in 1980.From 1980 - 1986 I worked as an associate in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells during which I attended the postgraduate centre on a regular basis.In 1986 I purchased the current practice (which was then located in Bouverie Square) and to make way for the new shopping centre, relocated to the present location in October 2000.I was approved as a Dental Vocational Trainer by the Deanery from 1988 – 2004 when our last trainee stayed with the practice as an associate.I was a member of the Local Dental Council until April 2006.I enjoy giving people high quality care and have an interest in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.I like to keep up-to-date and regard continuous improvement as a life long ambition.

I graduated as a bachelor of dental surgery from Guys, Kings & St. Thomas Dental Institute in June 2002 and immediately went on to do a years placement as a House Officer within that setting. I then joined Mr. Au as a Vocational Trainee Dentist and once my years placement was completed I remained as an associate dentist.I qualified for membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in October 2007.I am currently working towards the postgraduate qualification "Diploma in Restorative Dentistry of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK)
- Mrs Ameeta SandilandsAssociate Dentist
Ameeta moved to the UK at the tender age of six, completed her secondary education and went on to qualify as a dentist from the Royal Dental Hospital London in December 1982. She held positions of Clinical Assistant in Oral Surgery & Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital and completed the Orthodontics for General Dental Practitioners Course along side an associateship. Ameeta worked as an associate in general practice for 3 years before becoming a partner. A couple of years ago Ameeta completed the course in facial fillers and anti- wrinkle treatments and she offers these services alongside her general dentistry. Ameetas interests lie in preventative care, crowns and bridges and facial aesthetics. She prides herself in providing quality dentistry in a safe environment where her patients needs are paramount in the way that she delivers that care. Ameeta has great experience in treating nervous and anxious patients. Ameeta attends regular postgraduate study courses and regards her ongoing learning and development as integral to her ability to deliver high quality care to her patients.
- Mrs Arathi PrakashAesthetic Medicine Physician
Mrs Prakash graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in 2004.She worked as an intern in a Dental Hospital in Bangalore before moving to the UK in 2006. She went on to take up an associateship post in the local area in 2009 after passing all her required entry examinations and gaining registration with the GDC.She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has an interest in minor adult orthodontics. This led her to gaining accreditation as a provider of the Inman Aligner adult brace system. Mrs Prakash prides herself in her ability to put nervous patients at ease during their dental treatment.Mrs Prakash has attended post-graduate training courses enabling her to develop her clinical skills and deliver high quality dental care. She completed a year long course in Contemporary Restoration and Cosmetic Dentisty by Smile Concepts (National Aesthetic and Impant Training Institute), Solihill, England in 2012.When not working Mrs Prakash enjoys the company of her family and friends.
