GDC no. 70104 He graduated in 1994 from Glasgow University and immediately entered into general dental practice. He soon developed an interest in the emerging field of cosmetic dentistry and began a programme of further education which continues to this day. Hundreds of hours of postgraduate training with the very best cosmetic dentists in the world together with his own techniques have ensured that his patients receive the highest standards of care.

graduated from the University of Glasgow Dental School where he obtained many awards including the prestigious British Dental Association Student of the Year Award. He then went on to attain his MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Having worked in the Maxillofacial Units at the Sothern General Hospital and also Ninewells in Dundee he joined us from Dundee Dental Hospital and School where he was a Senior House Officer. He has recently completed dental implantology training at Sheffield University and has just embarked on a 10 day advanced aesthetic restorative course with world renowned Prosthodontic specialist, Dr Basil Mizrahi. In his hunger to elevate his dentistry further Dr Bashir has enrolled on many courses and lectures run by leading figures in dentistry such as Dr Newton Fahl, Dr Pascal Magne and Dr Jason Smithson.

Since graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2001 Dr Imran Shafi spent several years in general dentistry in the UK, before electing to spend a year in Australia where he gained experience of community dentistry, private practice & Aboriginal Health Services. He then returned to the UK where he gained Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons before being awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Orthodontics from the University of Glasgow. He was the first UK dental graduate to achieve this postgraduate degree, and this also won him two prestigious dental research awards. Finally Imran gained membership from the Royal College of Surgeons as a Specialist in the field of Orthodontics.
