Dr Angela takes pride in always doing her best and was one of the few students in her year to pass her final examinations with a distinction. She completed her vocational training in a busy NHS practice in Manchester then went on to work as a senior house officer in Maxillofacial Surgery for a year developing her surgical skills. During this time, she successfully passed her examinations for the Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgeons. She has since worked in various posts NHS and Private practice in Manchester and Halifax, including as a provider of oral surgery and sedation services. During her time in general practice, she has developed an interested in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. She particularly loves how improving a patients smile can dramatically transform their confidence. This passion has lead her to complete a year long postgraduate certificate course in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. She is currently carrying out training with one of the top cosmetic dentists in the UK, Dr Basil Mizrahi, a dentist who she much admires for his careful attention to detail and fantastic natural results. She has undergone training in several cosmetic orthodontic systems, including the Inman Aligner, 6 month smiles and clear aligner training. She is currently carrying out training with a specialist orthodontist, Dr Ian Hutchinson to carry out more complex and comprehensive orthodontic treatment, as well as orthodontic training with world reknowned dentist Skip Truitt.
