He has completed the one-year Tatum course on implantology and bone grafting, studying under the pioneering American dentist, Professor Hilt Tatum, and also a further year-long training course in BioHorizon implants. In 2009 he also obtained his Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice from the highly respected UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London. Outside of work, he enjoys playing football, boxing and yoga and successfully completed the 2008 London Marathon, raising just over two thousand pounds for the Mouth Cancer Foundation. He also loves travelling and eating out.

Matthew joined the Merivale Practice in 2001, taking over as Principal in 2007. After gaining is BDS from Bristol University, Matthew completed the one-year Tatum course on implantology and bone grafting, studying under the pioneering American dentist, Professor Hilt Tatum, plus a further year-long training course in BioHorizon implants. As well as Dental Implants, Matthew also has a special interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment.

He has also achieved the Denplan Stairway Award, a tough postgraduate programme involving training courses, personal study and in-surgery audits. Most recently he was awarded his Masters in Advanced General Dental Practice from Birmingham University, graduating with Distinction. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, tennis, boxing, rugby and travelling.

FdSC Oral Health Science Essex GDC Registration number 225918 Lorraine graduated from the University of Essex in 2014 with a Distinction in Oral Health Science. Since qualifying as a Dental Hygienist, Lorraine has gained valuable insight and experience by working in various private and NHS dental practices. This is in addition to her previous experience as a Dental Nurse. She is dedicated to her role as a Hygienist and takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of care.

Hajirah graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011 and completed her Vocational Training at the London Deanery. She has since been working in general dental practice while also continuing with post graduate studies, and is currently completing the final part of a diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at he Royal College of Surgeons of England. Haj's aim is to enhance her skills in order to offer a choice of treatments to her patients, focusing on providing minimally invasive dentistry in a calm and relaxed environment.

Outside work, Haj plays netball in competitive leagues, loves to travel abroad as much as possible and also enjoys baking and decorating cakes.

With over 20 years of clinical practice Zahida aims to provide the highest standard of dental care across all age ranges. Her extensive experience in working with children in an understanding and patient manner has allowed her to build lasting rapports into adulthood.

With respect to adults, Zahida has actively sought postgraduate training courses, designed to enhance the range of treatment available, from smile enhancement, through dental makeovers, with modern cosmetic dentistry through to facial rejuvenation, using anti-wrinkle treatments, taking skin health to the next level.

Ama is a Professor & Consultant Orthodontist at Bart's and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has been published widely and has received several awards for his clinical and research work. Ama is an invited lecturer, and has been actively involved in the training of Dentists and Orthodontists for over ten years. Professor Johal is also a recognized international expert in the management of snoring conditions using dental appliances referred to as mandibular advancement appliances. He has been involved in clinical treatment development and research in this field for over 15 years and has presented his work at meetings around the world.
