Initially she worked as receptionist and dental nurse before gaining her nursing qualifications in 1998. She sat her exam for oral health educator in 1999 and followed this up by graduating from the Eastman Dental Institute as Dental Hygienist in 2002. She has worked at Cheam Road Dental Practice since 2005.
