We are an established family friendly dental practice that has been offering dental care to the local community of Corstorphine and the people of Edinburgh for several years. The practice previously known as Hogg Combes and Ritchie Dental Practice has been under the new ownership of Corstorphine Dental Centre since April 2016.

- Dr Annette RobinsonDentist
GDC no. 63030Annette qualified from Dundee Dental Hospital in 1987 and has worked as a dentist in general practice ever since. Annette has gained much valuable experience working in the South of England for 13 years then the last 15 years in Edinburgh and still enjoys the varied challenges of taking care of people’s oral health. She gains particular satisfaction from performing aesthetic dentistry and from treating anxious patients.When weighing up different treatment plans she is guided by the instinct of “what would I do if this patient were one of my own family?” and always aims to do her very best for all her patients.Annette provided maternity cover at the practice in 2014 and she is now delighted to have re-joined the team as a permanent member.

GDC no. 210721Qualified from the National University of Ireland (Cork) with honours in June 2013.Moved to Scotland in August 2013 and did a year of further training in Dunfermline before settling in Edinburgh.Enjoys all the challenges of general dentistry but has a special interest in emergency dentistry and also holds a post in the out of hours emergency dental centre in Edinburgh.Outside of dentistry Thomas enjoys socialising and keeping fit but finds it difficult to turn down a steak pie.

GDC no. 210721Qualified from Cardiff University in 2011 and has previously worked in Somerset before joining Corstorphine Dental Centre.Robert enjoys cosmetic treatment and further dental education having gained the membership diploma of The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.Outside work, he is a keen runner and cyclist.

GDC no. 172652Qualified from the University of Athens, Greece in 2007. Dimitra has worked in Scotland since 2009 at our sister practices in Whitburn and Dunfermline for several years.Dimitra has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry such as ceramic crowns and veneers but she enjoys all aspects and challenges of general dentistry.In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and reading.
- Dr Bethan RookesDentist
GDC no. 209628Bethan qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2011. Following graduation she returned home to Wales where she spent time in both practice and hospital dentistry with placements in Paediatric Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.Bethan moved to Fife, Scotland in 2015, returning to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for another year. She has now decided to return to general practice and is pleased to have joined the team at Corstorphine Dental Centre.

GDC no. 2953Qualified from Edinburgh Dental Hospital in June 1985 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.Alison has worked in general practice as a dental hygienist ever since she qualified, joining our team at the practice in March 2008.Outside of work she enjoys playing golf, cycling and running.
