ABC Dental Surgery

Dr Su Rai is the Principal Dentist at ABC Dental Surgery where she works as a General Dentist. Su is a firm believer in a preventative and ethical approach to achieving healthy, aesthetically-pleasing teeth and gums. Su enjoys working with children and is often referred to as ‘Dr Su’. Su also visits local school to give educational talks on oral health.

Dr Claudia Bortolaia graduated with honours in Dentistry in 1999 at the University of Pisa, Italy. Soon after she started dedicating herself only to Paedodontics and Orthodontics. In 2000 she was granted a scholarship to attend a post-graduate course at the Royal Dental College at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, under the direction of the world-wide known Prof. Birthe Melsen. Dr Bortolaia has published several articles in Italian and international dental journals in collaboration with academics and practitioners and worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Pisa. After her return to Italy, Dr Bortolaia started an internship in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Siena, Italy. Her orthodontic training there enabled her to work on patients belonging to every age group and walk of life.

Anders qualified from the University of Ulmea in Sweden, in 1979. He spent 7 years in general dental practice in Sweden before training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. After qualifying Anders moved to Surrey working as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital where he was part of the maxillofacial team until retiring in June 2010. He now works solely as an oral surgeon in the private sector, concentrating on implant treatments and bone reconstruction. In his spare time Anders like to ski and play golf. Anders has been practising at ABC Dental for over 10 wonderful years and is an integral part of our success.

Dr Marta Suarez obtained her Bachelor degree in dentistry from the international University of Catalonia ( Barcelona , Spain) in 2005 . She has also completed MSc in Endodontics in 2007 in the same university. During her time in Barcelona she has been working in private practice limited to Endodontics treatment and has attended national and international congresses about Endodontics and postgraduate courses to maintain her awareness in every part of dentistry.
