He has obtained a Master of Science Degree, the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow and the Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He has also worked in Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery positions.He also undertook a 5-year Restorative Consultant Training Programme culminating in the award of the highly prestigious Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry awarded jointly by the English, Irish and Scottish Colleges.In addition he has trained extensively in Europe and North America in advanced implant dentistry, bone grafting techniques and cosmetic dentistry.He has been admitted to the General Dental Council Specialist Lists in Restorative, Prosthodontic and Periodontal Dentistry.As a former Consultant in Restorative Dentistry his particular area of interest was the restorative, cosmetic and implants rehabilitation of malignancy, trauma and hypodontia/ microdontia cases.He is Director of Aesthetic and Implant seminars, which runs restorative, cosmetic and implant courses for UK and international dentists.He is an Examiner for the Membership in Restorative Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons England.Dominic has presented numerous National and International hands on courses in Implantology, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry.

BDS, FDS RCS(Eng), MSurgDent RCS, MSc (UCL, Implant Dentistry)Following graduation Robert spent 8 years in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training positions. He is recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Oral Surgery.In 2001 he completed an MSC in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London with distinction.Since 2003 Robert has been working as Clinical Lecturer in Dental Implantology at Cardiff Dental Hospital. The post involves the teaching of implant treatments to postgraduate students. Robert has helped set up dental implant teaching courses and bone grafting courses at the University of Wales.Since 2005, Robert has also worked as an Associate Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick lecturing on advanced implant techniques.He has lectured nationally and internationally on the surgical aspects of dental implantology. His particular area of interest is the reconstruction of missing bone and gum tissue as part of implant treatment. This involves bone grafting, guided bone regeneration and soft tissue grafting. This is aimed at improving the cosmetic results of dental implant treatment.His work has been featured nationally on programs including "10 years younger"

BDS (Wales 1993) Sharon is joint partner of smile concepts; she bought the practice with her husband in 2009 after working at the practice as an associate for eight years. Sharon qualified from Cardiff University in 1993. After qualifying Sharon worked at Cardiff Dental Hospital for a year, gaining further experience. She has also worked in general practice in Manchester and Wetherby before joining smile concepts as an associate in 2001. Sharon has also undertaken further extensive training in Invisalign (nearly clear braces) and facial aesthetics (injectable treatments for the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles and the replacement of volume in lips). These types of cases give Sharon enormous satisfaction due to the dramatic positive effects the treatments have on patient's lives.
