GDC No: 210126 Dr Attiah Khan works at the practice part time. Since graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2011 she went on to complete vocational training in the Midlands. Following this she had the privilege of working as a senior house officer in the oral-maxillofacial department. This allowed her to further enhance her skills in Oral Surgery as well as building a greater knowledge and understanding of various oral conditions and diseases. Dr. Khan has continued to develop her skills in general practice through further post graduate examinations and has successfully gained MJDF qualification. Dr. Khan regularly attends post graduate courses and has a particular interest in both restorative and oral surgery.

Dr Yasir Noorani (BDS, MFDS RCS, Dip Imp Dent RCS – Dental Surgeon) works at the practice full-time. He continues to strive to give the best to his patients. He believes in quality and works hard to get the best possible results. His experience and practice set him apart from most general dentists as he is able to offer his patients a wide array of treatment options including dental implants, smile makeovers and brace treatments. He has significant experience of general practice, implant dentistry and aesthetic dentistry including clear braces. He has worked in Restorative Dentistry at the Dundee Dental Hospital where he developed a passion for more complex dentistry many years ago .He secured his postgraduate membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, which in those days required competence and experience alongside postgraduate exams. He is very creative and is happy to find a solution to ‘any’ problem. Yasir completed a certificate in implant dentistry at the Implant Institute at Harley Street, working alongside one of the leading implantologists in the country for 2 years. After significant experience and competence, he attained a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. With his vast experience in Cosmetic Dentistry and Implants Yasir is able to provide a comprehensive treatment plan to all our patients. Yasir takes a caring approach and aims to explain all treatment options effectively to ensure that the patient has input and is comfortable in the decision that he/she makes.

Dr Mariam Shahid Noorani (BDS, BSc, MFDS RCS – Dental Surgeon) is known for her gentle nature towards patients and works very well with nervous patients making sure they understand what is being done, why and how (if they would like to know). She works at the practice part time. She also works in Special Care dentistry looking after adults and children with special needs and phobias. She believes dentistry in this day should look natural and beautiful. Apart from working at the practice, Mariam has also worked in hospital in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Restorative dentistry at the Southampton General Hospital and Birmingham Dental Hospital. She secured her membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edingburgh and that of England at this time. Her experience has allowed her practice to develop to the best possible standards and to be able to offer more complex treatment options to patients which may be beyond the relm of other practitioners. Mariam takes pride in her work and enjoys educating patients enough to make their own decisions in the choice of treatment they wish to have.
