Located at 19 Cemetery Road, 15 minutes from M62 Junction 27 and Dewsbury railway station, the practice has 12 dental surgeries and benefits from free off street parking.

Dr Naresh SharmaDentist
B.Ch.D., M.G.D.S., R.C.S. (Eng.) M.Surg. Dent. F.F.G.D.P.(UK), DipImpDent RCS (Eng), (Specialist. Oral Surgery) Naresh K Sharma qualified from the University of Leeds in 1974. After a short stint in General Dental Practice, he went back into Hospital Dentistry, concentrating mainly in Oral Surgery at Leeds General Infirmary. In 1977 he took over Heckmondwike Dental Practice, where he built it up into a seven dental practice surgery. In 1988, he took and passed the M.G.D.S examination in London. Whilst he owned the practice, Naresh also worked in Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, where he carried out Oral Surgery there. During this time, Naresh developed a very keen interest in dental Implantology. He furthered his interest in Implantology by attending Dr Ashok Sethi’s one year teaching course in 1993. He currently represents the Yorkshire Dentists at the National Faculty Board Level at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. His past appointments have included chairman of the Examinations Committee of the Faculty of general Dental Practitioners. He has been a past examiner and has examined for the College, both nationally and internationally. Naresh is currently on the specialist list for oral surgery. In 2002, he sold the practice to Oasis Dental Care, who are based in Bristol and has over 140 practices nationwide. Naresh continues to practice in Heckmondwike, but specialises only in implant work. Naresh receives implant referrals from all around the country and also works very closely with his mentor and good friend, Ashok Sethi. Naresh is widely known in the post-graduate circle having been a Clinical Tutor in Wakefield for many years. He was also involved in introducing “Pathways in Practice”, and the D.G.D.P in the Yorkshire Region. He also ran the M.G.D.S. study group for a number of years. Up to the middle of 1997, he was the Regional Advisor and Clinical Assessor for BUPA dental cover. Naresh has various publications to his name and he is currently on the teaching faculty for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at The Royal College of Surgeons in England. Naresh is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Naresh has organised and taught on various Post Graduate Courses, not only in the U.K but Internationally. Outside of Dentistry, Naresh is a keen golfer. He is also the founder of the Chitrakoot charity Project in Chitrakoot India, which was founded in 1998 and provides free primary dental care to 500 villages in some of the poorest parts of the world. Naresh is also a member of the Oasis Advisory Panel.

Dr Nick LaneDentist
BchD (2003), MFGDP (2005), DipRestDent RCS (2008), Msc (2009), FFGDP (2010) GDC registration Number - 82181 Nick qualified from Leeds University in 2003, and has worked with Oasis Dental Care in Heckmondwike Dental and Implant Centre since. Nick is currently undertaking a Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Faculty of General Dental Practice. Nick takes referrals for complex Restorative and Prosthodontic work, including Dental Implants, Aesthetic Work and patients requiring i.v sedation. Nick is a Foundation Dentist Trainer, and a board member for the Yorkshire Division of Faculty of General Dental Practice. He runs the MJDF course for the division and is currently the Post Graduate Tutor for West Yorkshire.

Dr Robert MontgomeryDentist
BchD MFDS RCS Ed GDC registration Number - 82185 I qualified from the University of Leeds in 2003. After a year in general practice I went back into hospital dentistry concentrating on oral surgery at Leeds general infirmary. After returning to private practice I completed the membership to the faculty of dental surgery in Edinburgh. I now focus on the areas of sedation of nervous patients and the restoration of peoples mouths with dental implants. I also hold a position on the Kirklees Local Dental committee and have been accredited as a foundation trainer for newly qualified dentists.
